This is... yeah...

I try to make my little figures smooth as possible but sometimes a little mark or something escapes me... I mean, all my clay pieces have imperfections. If it's great enough, I never show it online. In this case though, I kinda like it...

Talk about heart-reaching (Oh the puns! I just had to say it XD).

I like how this clay piece isn't completely smooth, it enhances the point that no person is perfect. Red paint where the heart was stolen from really suits the piece too. A bleeding hole where the stolen heart once was. I also like how the heart "scar" isn't smooth either. It's like a piece of that stolen heart was left behind and is crying for the rest of itself to come back so it can be whole again. But some scars don't heal. Hm, the red paint could symbolize "red tears" aka blood.

Oh dear, I think I'm headed towards the cheesy zone. D;

Gaaaaaaaaaaaah! Why must this piece fit with a situation that's happening in my life?! (not directly, I haven't had a stolen/broken heart yet) I got a friend who fits this piece perfectly! Kinda creepy now that I think about it. XD

All that being said, me likey the piece! :heart:

:heart: puns are so awesome. They're good inspiration. :D

Lol. The smoothness (or non-smoothness) of my figures isn't 100% up to me. But they do tend to do more good than harm.

Well, not too creepy I hope. :) Whether it's a star or a key or a heart, I'm sure they can represent something different for everyone.

Thanks for the feedback!

I love the concept behind this. I've seen it done a bunch of different ways, but your design says it in a really unique and simple way :) It's also adorable haha. (I totally also thought this was metal from the thumbnail haha)

Thank you so much! The good thing about seeing all the art with the same concept is that they inspire me too. ^_^ I'm so glad you like my design, that's such a high compliment .

It seems pretty smooth to me, from the thumbnail i thought it was made of metal. Think you've managed to make a really good minimalistic design with this one :)

Thank you! Sometimes, when I photograph my jewelry, I see some minor flaws that I hadn't noticed before. It's good to know that it looks smooth.

It still amazes me too how the clay can look like metal. Minimalist? :hug: That's such a cool compliment, because a simple design was what I was aiming for.

I know the feeling! One thing that really amazed me about making jewelry is how damn hard it is to photograph.

But you're welcome :)
